I have emailed,called,and tried to go through customer Services time after time and time again to no avail or Success in getting my flight refund that I was faithfully promised that my refund would be back in my account within 5 business days and this was a Ryanair Supervisor at Shannon Airport,county Clair Southern Ireland that authorised a so called refund and even printed our new boarding passes out

Ryanair delayed the flight I was booked on with my wife. I contacted them with plenty of notice to change my flight to the next morning.

I was guaranteed I wouldn't be charged any extra for this, as it was their fault and a very late departure, and they recognised I would not be able to make it on time as I had no way to get there at the late change time. Our conversation was recorded and monitored, and they have it all on record and told me I wouldn't be charged any extra fees, either for a change of flight or for the price difference.

I would appreciate the money being refunded as soon as possible, as I have rent to pay. Regards, Peter Thompson.

Get ready to anything happen, at any level with them. Despite their mostly not affordable, nor reasonable prices, they always find new ways to over charge you, extra, despite illegal practices.

Dear Senior Manager or Head of HR Ryanair Airlines department ,

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding the treatment I received from your staff during my recent interaction on June 23, 2025. I was shocked by the rudeness and unprofessional behavior displayed, which was both unacceptable and disheartening.

During my visit, a staff member called me back from the steps as I was about to board my flight.

After scanning my passport and allowing me to proceed, she suddenly demanded that I return to check the size of my bag. This was incredibly disappointing, especially since I have been carrying that bag for the last three to four years without issue on Ryanair flights.

The same staff member threatened to blacklist me in the future, which felt wholly inappropriate. There were two staff members involved; one directed me to her, while the other insisted that the door was closed and I was not going anywhere. I had planned my trip two to three months in advance and booked all my hotel rooms.

It was unacceptable for her to deny me travel in such a manner.

I have a voice recording that proves she charged me for baggage and then insulted me, which was both embarrassing and emotionally distressing. Her actions seemed targeted, as I was the last customer boarding, and she took advantage of that situation. I believe her behavior reflects a lack of proper training and professionalism, and she should not hold a position within Ryanair.

I urge you to take this matter seriously, as her behavior is not representative of the standard of service expected from your airline. I would appreciate a call to discuss this matter further with a senior member of your staff.

If necessary, I will escalate this complaint to the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) or the Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

So when she requested a size-check of your bag (implication being you are still eligible to fly at this point) and you smiled and said “Sure, let’s go”, why was the outcome you not being able to board? Did you run your mouth?

Because something happened. They didn’t just not let you board unless you provoked them and turned feral animal.

When we went to book in at the desk, there was a massive queue. We were there about two and a half hours before our flight time.

I was concerned as it was getting close to our flight time. One of your floor assistants called out Exeter. When I went to see her, I informed her I was on the Exeter flight. She firmly told me to go back to my suitcase in the queue, which I did, and waited with my partner.

Meanwhile, we saw they opened, I believe, desk 65. About 10 people went to it; I think they were given correct information for the booking to Exeter. By the time we booked in and our case, we went straight to the flight desk, but the flight had left. Why wasn’t an announcement made to go to desk 65?

Why was I misinformed by the Ryanair assistant? My original booking number was AQYQTD. After missing our flight, I went back to the Ryanair desk, explained what happened, and I filled out a complaint form, P-193270. As there were no further flights out that day, I had to pay for two further seats costing 200 euros; I have the receipt.

I then had to collect my luggage. I was booked on the return flight FR2796 the following day.

Today they have preponed the flight from 6:05 to 5:45 am and no information was given to us. No info was sent to us.

We just made it to the boarding gate; the two girls there were so inhumane. They allowed my family members to board and closed the counter on me though I was present over there. They are ruthless and racist, with no consideration for customers. Worst behavior.

They removed the wrong luggage from the flight and caused so much damage to us.

I will never travel with them again. Please do not do so, bros.

I am writing this detailed complaint to share my horrific experience with Ryanair at London Stansted Airport on February 7, 2025, before Flight FR6199 to Hahn at 21:05. Ryanair's staff were aggressive, manipulative, and discriminatory, creating an unacceptable and humiliating situation that left my wife and me deeply distressed.

Discriminatory Treatment & Unjust Charges:

When my wife and I reached Gate 48, we noticed that every other female passenger was allowed to carry a handbag in addition to their main cabin bag. However, when my wife proceeded with the same, she was singled out and forced to pay £60 for her handbag, while others passed freely without additional charges.

We immediately asked fellow passengers if they had paid extra for their handbags, and every single one confirmed that they had not. This proves that Ryanair's baggage policy was selectively and unfairly enforced in our case, which is clear discrimination and a violation of fair customer treatment.

Aggressive Staff, Verbal Harassment & Public Humiliation:

When I politely questioned the charge and asked why my wife was being treated differently from other passengers, Ryanair's staff became extremely aggressive. They started shouting at us in front of everyone, creating an intimidating and embarrassing scene.

One blonde female employee went even further and publicly accused me of lying, loudly stating that I not my wife's husband. This was an unfounded, offensive, and completely inappropriate claim, and despite both my wife and I insisting otherwise, she mocked us in front of colleagues and passengers.

This public humiliation was unprofessional, unethical, and unacceptable. An airline should train its staff to assist passengers, not publicly shame them.

Manipulation, Threats & Possible Fraud:

In an effort to comply, I offered to place my wife's handbag inside my backpack, which would have fully adhered to Ryanair's baggage policy. However, the staff refused this reasonable solution, insisting that we had to pay the £60 charge.

They repeatedly threatened that we would not be allowed to board if we did not pay immediately. Feeling pressured, humiliated, and out of options, we were forced to pay.

Despite paying the fee under duress, we were denied a receipt for the payment. This raises serious concerns about fraudulent activity, as passengers should always receive a receipt for any additional charges. This unaccounted-for transaction was deeply suspicious and unprofessional.

Emotional & Physical Distress Caused by Ryanair's Staff:

Due to the aggressive intimidation, unfair treatment, and public shaming, my wife's blood pressure spiked dangerously high, leading to serious stress-related health issues. The entire situation was emotionally distressing and left us shaken.

Additionally, this was not just any flight for me. I was travelling for an official business trip as an invited speaker at the IoT Tech Expo in London, representing BMW as a Professor of Informatics & AI and Product Manager. Instead of preparing for my professional engagement, I was forced to endure harassment, threats, and intimidation at the hands of Ryanair's staff. This damaged my professional focus and negatively impacted my trip.

Ryanair Must Be Held Accountable!

This was not just an isolated case of bad customer service - this was outright harassment, discrimination, and unethical business behaviour. Ryanair's staff abused their authority, mistreated paying customers, and potentially engaged in fraudulent charging practices.

My Demands for Resolution:

1. Immediate refund of the £60 unjustly charged.
2. Formal disciplinary action against the responsible Ryanair employees, including Andrew Crane and the blonde female staff member.
3. A written apology from Ryanair, acknowledging the wrongful treatment and distress caused.
4. Compensation of £5,000 per person (£10,000 total) for the emotional distress, health impact, and reputational harm caused by Ryanair's unprofessional and aggressive behaviour.

Ryanair, Do You Think This Behaviour is Acceptable?

I demand an explanation from @Ryanair for why their staff feel entitled to mistreat and intimidate paying customers. How many more passengers have been bullied into paying unfair charges? How often do gate staff get away with this behaviour?

If Ryanair fails to respond appropriately, I will escalate this complaint to:

UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)
European Consumer Centre Germany (EVZ)
German Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA)
Legal authorities for discrimination, harassment, and fraudulent business practices.

This must stop! Passengers deserve fairness, transparency, and respect - not threats and intimidation. Do not fly Ryanair if you expect to be treated fairly and with dignity!

I booked packages holiday, which my friend couldn't make the dates, so I changed flights but didn't change hotel, when I tried to changed the flight I had pay full ticket, whole I had already had a 2 tickets. Now they only want to refund 1 tickets, I can't fly on that dates, it's been booked. I'm still waiting for answer why customers service didn't offer me exchange the flights and paid out full price.

Duplicate Charge for Luggage

I sent the following email to Ryanair's Customer Service and I got an automated response with a list of links for me to choose the one that is relevant to my case. For two of the links that could be relevant, the webpage does not load.

Ryanair makes it impossible to contact them with any complaints. The following is the email I sent, which details my experience: "I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding a recent experience with my flight (FR 999, booking reference: UT5NTT) made through a third-party website.

On April 6th, I received a receipt confirming that I had paid for a 10kg carry-on for myself and each of my three children for our flight from Rome to Valencia. However, when I attempted to check in online the night before our flight (last night), I was unexpectedly prompted to pay again for the same 10kg carry-on luggage for each of us, my children and I.

Despite my efforts to check in without incurring this duplicate charge, the system would not allow me to proceed without making an additional payment. Consequently, I had no choice but to pay for the carry-on again to complete the check-in process.

This issue is particularly concerning as I have two more flights booked with Ryanair in the coming weeks, for which I have also paid for the 10kg carry-on luggage.

I am left wondering if I will be faced with the same situation and forced to pay twice for each carry-on again.

I kindly request a refund for the extra charges incurred for the carry-on luggage for myself and my three children. Also, I would appreciate assurance that I will not encounter the same issue with my upcoming flights, given that I have already paid for the 10kg carry-ons.

I expect to hear from you as soon as possible regarding how you will resolve this matter."

Hi. We were supposed to have a flight to Manchester on January 24, 2025.

We couldn't get on the flight because of a devastating and life-threatening storm. On Knock airport website, we found information that the flights may only start at 2:45 p.m., our flight was at 2:30 p.m. so we did not expect that the flight would be made. In addition, buses did not run and transportation was prohibited on the advice of the Guard and the institutions.

Please refund our money so that we don't have to send this email to the inspectorate.

They made me pay 75 GBP this was Manchester airport yesterday from Prague larger bags were accepted.

Bag check in horrendous

Ryanair - Bag check in horrendous

I paid priority , 40 euro each way to carry on a ten kg. It did not fit by so had to pay 75 euro to a rude Ryanair employee who told me to call someone to pay it for me when I suggested I might not have the money.

I then on my return had to pay another 35 euro. 190 euro to carry an 8kg bag as I weighed it. Two elder people had to pay 150 and again not treated with kindness.

I have used Ryanair all my life, I have respect for their policies,7 but common sense should go both ways. I did not have any problem with any of the lovely staff on board.

User's recommendation: Put everything in the hold as priority means nothing any more.

My brother bought return tickets from London Sunset to Poland 19th of May at 19.15 pm and Poland to London Stansted 6 th of June He cannot do a check-in because it seems like you got technical problem or something it is wrong

My brother he cant speak English

What can he do ?
