75€ Extra Charge for my cabin bag being "too big"

I traveled with my cabin bag with this company 4 flights all same place,lisb-irl, NEVER was an issued those 3 flights with the cabin bag, in Lisbon they never said anything about it neither the first time I went to Ireland and vice versa, yesterday (30/1/2025), somehow the flight attendant thought my bag should be measured, and she told be it was "too big" for it, I said to her none of her colleagues said anything and the bag always was fine, always fit in the cabin and never was a problem. She just kept saying that it was the procedures, she did the same thing to several people on that flight.

A lady was charger 75 has well for more or less 2 mm or less, it was outrageous, if i can in the next future i wont be flying with them again, sadly i think its the only option to fly to Ireland.

Don't fly with them if you have another options!

Worst airline ever . And the worst customer service in Rabat .

The worst airline ever, I have been flying for the past 40 years and this is by far the most ridiculous and worst airline I have ever come across. On my way to London, I tried checking in on the app and was told to go to the airport because they couldn't scan my passport.

Once I arrived at the airport, the representative stated that I needed to check in online or pay $66 for each person in my family of 4, totaling $264. I had to pay to get on the flight. Now, I'm trying to check-in for my return and the same issue is happening. It looks like this airline is doing a bait and switch just to charge people.

I tried calling the number and no one answered.

Please have someone call me at +212652****65. Thanks.

I am trying to make amends about the 24 hours changing the flights without paying. I can't talk to anybody, I am so busy today and I just found out the flight is on December 18.

It should be March 18, and I live in Malta. The flight is from Rome to Madrid. Please help me. Thank you.

P.S: I am uploading my entire flight schedule for next year, which is supposed to be for next year. Thank you.

No Willingness to help at John Lennon Airport

I have no idea if Ryanair reads this, or if any of the reviews actually get looked into, however, I will share. On Monday the 25th of November, my wife and I arrived at the check-in point at 09:30, which was the cut-off point.

We had no boarding passes and I was not aware that I had to check in online, as we had not done this before with the airline when we flew out to Poland the previous year. The customer service agent said she could not help unless we checked in on the app and I had to download it. By this time, I had already been stuck in traffic for three hours. I became a little upset, but not in a rude way.

However, the operator quickly became defensive, saying that if I speak to her in a rude manner, I would not be allowed on the flight. All I said was, 'I did not know that I had to check in on the app', in a slightly disgruntled tone, but not enough to warrant her response. So I asked, 'If I download the app, can I get checked in?' She said yes. So, I followed her instruction.

She then announced that our flight had been delayed, although she was unsure about how long it would be. I managed to get into the app only to be told, 'Sorry, you have missed the check-in.' I went to the counter to be greeted by a different operator, and her response was pitiless. She simply told us, 'Sorry, you have missed your flight and will have to pay £55 each extra to get on the next flight, which was not for another 3 hours.' We requested to see a manager, who took an hour to come and see us. The manager then proceeded to get us booked on the next flight, but this time at an additional cost of £200.

So now, we have paid £500 for two people to fly from Liverpool to Dublin for a 38-minute flight. This is scandalous and a big con. Obviously, we had no choice and they knew this. The lack of support from the airline at Liverpool Airport was non-existent; all they wanted to do was be defensive and use bad excuses.

When we challenged them, they called the managers, accusing us of being rude and threatening. It is unbelievable how cheap companies such as Ryanair and Easy Jet are not investigated often. When coming back, I was in shock at how many excuses they made to customers to charge them extra for luggage to take on the plane. It was like a money-making scam.

Most of the bags fit in their little box, and because it was a few millimetres too big, they made them pay.

We learn from our mistakes when we fly with these poorly managed, low-cost airlines. I will never again pay to sit on a Ryanair plane.

Preferred solution: I would like some compensation , at least all of it but I would settle for 50% at least. I doubt I see £1 - I do not want vouchers as I will not be using the airline again

Get a receipt for a travel insurance claim

Tried chatbot three times it either thre an error message or told me they were too busy to let me speak with an agent.

Called one number , picked general enquiry was told that as my booking was in more than 30 days I wasn't urgent and called as dropped. I had not provided any information about my flight so that was a presumption called another number from this page was asked to select a language I picked 1 for english then call was dropped. I just need them to send me a proper receipt for my flight as the one I received just says I used a 50 gift voucher and does not actually include how much I actually paid which was considerably more.

My mom was charged for the bag 70 on the flight boarding Kraków Dublin. The same bag she was carrying on the round trip in September.

The same ticket option the same bag. She is 75 years old woman fleeing from the war in Ukraine.

It was priority ticket. One item was small lady's handbag. Very small, no issues.

Second one was cabin bag (less than 10kg). Was claimed by airline staff as an inappropriate, and she was forced to pay 100 fee for it.

The carry on bag is Delsey brand.

The carry on bag should be (55x40x20cm) and manufacturer's measurements is (54x35x20 cm) that even smaller than should be. Moreover, the same bag she had as cabin luggage during round trip by Ryanair with no problem on both trips.

The stuff simply took advantage of old frightened lady traveling alone with small luggage fleeing from war and bombs.

Her English is very poor, and apparently she can't stand for herself.

I'm making complaint now for fee refund to her account. But I also want to complain about airline stuff disgusting behavior taking advantage of old lady under tragic circumstances.

Why do you guys have a costumer service contact which never works, even if you try to change the language as myself speak 5 langages, still. Bankrupt is not enough for this company.I have been a loyal Ryanair customer for almost 20 years, traveling with the same standard priority bag every month.

Recently, I’ve noticed a disappointing trend where the airline seems to find excuses to charge passengers additional fees, even after paying for priority.To make matters worse, the staff often come across as rude and disrespectful, which reflects poorly on the company. Instead of prioritizing customer satisfaction, it seems Ryanair is more focused on squeezing extra money out of passengers.I believe the root of the problem lies in how the staff are treated and paid.

If Ryanair invested in better compensation and training for their employees, it would likely result in a better experience for everyone.I sincerely hope the company reconsiders its approach, as this behavior only serves to damage its reputation. Long-term loyalty from passengers like myself should be valued, not taken for granted.

daes, I am trying to verify my account. My flight is today and it simply does not go on.

I do all the process log into my email login to Ryanair everything and then at the end it just says live news very fine. Life is very find Laqman SA just doesn't go on so I cannot do the picture and I cannot verify my account even though I already have an account with Ryanair which means Ryanair is my passport and all my information, so this is really absurd.
