Cannot speak to anyone about an issue

I booked a flight for myself Frances Maranelli and my husband Peter Cooney with Ryanair from Venice to Catania leaving June 17th at 13:15. The flight time was changed to 8AM in the morning which I am unable to take.

Ryanair sent me an email giving me the option to ask for a refund which is what I chose to do. You then contacted me to tell me my refund was in my wallet but instead of using the booking no I was on ie. INJSMQ you quoted a completely different booking no. IeHLR 46D.

I have no idea how you got that booking no. The result was that I did not receive the refund I am owed and you never acknowledged that I even applied for a refund by keeping my booking live. When I tried to reapply for the refund I was told it had already been pd to my wallet which of course, did not occur as I seem to be still booked on the flight!!! A total mess up !

Can someone sort this out for me??

Ive never had a problem, checking in before apart from flying with Rainer. I went to Egypt last month.

I was able to check in online couple of days before I came to Barcelona. I received an email asking me to check in. I followed the link and it would not let me check in as apparently I didnt have an account with Rayner so I have had to pay £165 at the airport to get here and then I have to pay £165 when coming home. This is ridiculous I have receipts at the airport they told me to get in contact with the travel agent and I should be able to get a refund for it all.

I have added the receipt for the money I had to pay on the way here. Just remember I have to pay that on the way back also so I am £330 out of pocket which I brought as my spending money. Im in Barcelona with my two children and I literally run out of money because Ive had to pay this. I didnt bring my bankcard with me because I had problems with Egypt so I brought £600 spending money which was enough to last me and the kids for the four week.

We was here but now Ive had to pay £330 just for checking fees which is ridiculous. Ive been on 10 holidays and Ive never had to do that in my life .

I need it refunding ASAP as Im running out of money and Im in Barcelona in a different country with my two children I dont even have enough money for food for the rest of the holiday so I need to refund immediately. You can send £165 for now which I have just sent you the receipt for obviously when I get back to England, I will send you a picture copy of the receipt coming home and you can also refund that .

All I wanted to do was change my flight dates. Tried to pay on the app, didnt work. Tried to pay on the website, didnt work. Tried to call the helpline and they suggested that I tried again. Tried, didnt work. To rebook on the phone, despite being in the 24 hour grace period, it was stupidly expensive. All because the website was so broken it kept crashing as soon as I tried to pay them. And Im 100% sure I put in my details right. Ive done it multiple times with PayPal and my card and it still wont work. Company is so useless they cant even scam me out of more money.

Lost luggage

I had a flight with a connecting stop at London Stansted. I checked-in my luggage in Nice and arrived to my final destination, Helsinki to find that the luggage was not turning around the carousel.

I contacted staff at the airport to hear that I should have made the missing bag complaint in London, where I did not know that my bag was missing. I do not get any service without the code that I do not have.

I have lost hope of ever seeing My bag again and am not ever going to fly Ryanair again after this robotic bad service and total insensitivity towards my concern. Customer feels stupid at Ryanair, in every touchpoint of the service chain.

Hello ,

Explaining the issue in my incomplete booking STEP BY STEP below. Looking for a proper and faster solution.

I have TRAVEL CREDITS(TC) to use against reservation CEVBFJ & XJ1KHQ (asked RyanAir for refund due to miscarriage of my wife that time ).

Got these credits on 15th March and have been asked to use by 15th September 2023 (Please attachment)

According to the RyanAir email, Called support (+441279****95) to use TC and Booking has been confirmed on call for reservation RWLHWK on Tue, Sep 12, 10:29AM using "CEVBFJ" but there was some issue with "XJ1KHQ" so she asked me to call after couple days to pay the pending amount against TC "XJ1KHQ".

Have called to RyanAir support on 14th Sept to same number, Asked to apply "XJ1KHQ" against the pending amount for new booking reservation "RWLHWK".

But they said still there is some issue which is escalated to higher authority. But to complete the booking I should pay the pending amount 135.31 Euros ASAP.

Pending Payment is sent on Sat, Sep 16, 4:07PM. Have tried for payment via my two of my credit cards. But it failed with ERROR .(Error screenshot attached).

NOTE: Have tried multiple time for payment since Sept.

16th 2023. Tried in different Browser like Chrome, Edge , Mozilla by clear cache 7 cookies and incognito mode. Tried in different machine (two laptops, and one mobile app). But found error message "oops, something went wrong.

Please check your payment and try again".

Called support (+441279****95) sever times (2h+ calls , very costly for me) , they suggested to try again, they asked to have web chat.

When I did web chat , they suggested to complete the booking by calling to customer support.

Now this has been in a loop , where I found VERY IMMATURE level of support without any proper solution and kept me guessing on my future travel.

Please see attachment for more details.

Resolve this ASAP as I have to plan my travel accordingly.

Please call me if you need more details. Escalate to higher management if possible.

Ryanair staff provided misinformation & now cant get money back due to useless Chat bots

Avoid using RyanAir at all costs as they are frauds!

A surprise day trip for my daughters 30th birthday soon became hard work and very stressful caused by Ryanair - from pre booked flights having their times changed before flying to useless chat bots and agents making every communication timely and hard work just so we could have family members continuously be seated next to each other after THEIR flight changes

to the handling of our return flight cancellation (due to a storm) in being given mis information by a member of the Ryanair helpdesk staff at Dublin airport that instead of requesting a refund on our cancelled flight we could instead book a rescheduled flight with them (earliest was 3 days later!!) and still be ok to book any earlier alternative means of transport to return to the UK sooner and to keep all receipts for expenses to allow us to claim back and should any other means of transport be booked, to email Ryanair to cancel the rescheduled flight. and claim a full refund.

Well, After alternative transport was found to get us back to the UK the following day we realised we were not provided with a direct email address to cancel the Ryanair flights and upon arrival back home to the UK the only correspondence through to Ryanair was through the unhelpful website/chat bot & useless agents that kept cutting off the chat to which I would have to keep re-joining a que of over 300 others each time. Agents keep fobbing me off each time, wouldn't cancel our seats on the flight, refunds page says our flight hadn't been cancelled as the rescheduled flight that was under same reference number to the previous cancelled flight which did fly !!!

Their information obviously tells the that the chat bot & agents wouldn't have any trace of a cancelled flight and kept telling us they couldnt see a cancellation to cancel our seats???

AAARRRGGGHHH!!! Seems apparent Ryanair are happy to leave you going around on their merry go round on a chat bot system rather than helping to assist and keep future custom in hope that you eventually give up on trying to get your money back - So it now looks like I will have to take this case further than Ryanair

Have to say Ryanair really are the worst airline for shocking customer service and how they scam you out of your money
